Add the G.U. Sandbox Chain as a custom network

Overview

Let's connect the G.U. Sandbox Chain to the Ethereum Wallet app to a custom network. We will use "Lunascape Wallet" as the Ethereum Wallet app.

Steps

• Add a network from the Lunascape Wallet settings screen

• Verify that the network has been added

In order to connect to the blockchain, you must have a Wallet installed. This chapter describes the procedure when using "Lunascape Wallet".

Add a network from the Lunascape Wallet settings screen

Click on the Settings icon to open the settings window.

Click "Network List," and when the list appears, click "+Add Network" at the bottom.

Enter any network name in [Network Name] and the following (the address of the Geth RPC endpoint of the G.U. Sandbox Chain) in [Network URL], then click "Add Network" to add it.

• Network Name

  • Alphanumeric characters only, does not have to match the network name of the blockchain, but in this case we will use G.U. Sandbox Chain.

• Network URL

  • https://sandbox1.japanopenchain.org:8545/

Add Network

Verify that the network has been added

When you return to the [Lists of Networks], confirm that the network you added exists.
